BlueCat recently appointed Jeff McCullough as Vice President, Worldwide Channel and Alliances.

In this interview, Jeff spoke about his new role and covered his channel-focused background, BlueCat’s products, and the company’s partner strategy. Jeff reviewed a long channel career spanning retail, Computerland, Compaq, NetApp, SolarWinds, and NetAlly, and described BlueCat’s product portfolio and partner program status, noting the partner program 1.0 launched last August.

He then shifted to Channel 2.0 priorities: simplify and strengthen execution around MSPs and co-sell with Microsoft/Azure, create consistent and predictable partner engagement, and design clearer incentives that reward invested partners. He emphasized expanding services opportunities tied to Maestro and integrity projects, pursuing a large untapped “do nothing” market segment, and introducing SaaS options such as Horizon to ease hybrid migrations.
