Gateway today announced
that it will incorporate Intel’s latest generation of Intel(R) Centrino(TM)
mobile technology, including the Mobile Intel(R) 915 chipset, into new
professional notebook lines available beginning February.
Gateway will be integrating Intel’s latest technology to offer customers
new high performance computing technologies combined with unprecedented
battery life. Gateway notebook products based on the Intel 915 chipset will
support the latest Intel(R) Pentium(R) M and Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processors,
PCI Express Graphics, and up to 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 memory.
Gateway notebooks utilizing the new Intel technology deliver a range of
benefits to all of Gateway’s professional customers. Whether computing in the

confidently, as the new Intel technology delivers improved support for

PRO/Wireless Network Connection. The new notebook products based on the Intel
915 chipset will also deliver high-speed data bandwidth and stunning graphics
capabilities as well as increased software image stability. Additionally,
notebooks with the new chipset will also support Dual Channel DDR2 memory
which enhances performance and contributes to improved power consumption for
increased battery life.
