VARTECH CANADA, the best tradeshow for vendors and Canadian resellers of POS, ADC, Mobility, RFID, Digital Signage, and ID & Security, was held in Calgary, AB, from June 5th to the 7th 2011. VARTECH is a series of trade-exclusive events, hosted by BlueStar, a leading global distributor of technology solutions.
Hundreds of vendors and resellers participated in this exclusive event. BlueStar Canada organized many informative, technology-focused and business-oriented workshops, as well as networking. The running theme of “prospecting for new business” was inspired by an opening presentation from BlueStar Canada President, Jacques Lapierre.
“Our focus at VARTECH Canada this year was prospecting as it became clear that opportunities are abundant,” Lapierre said. “All VARs should be focused on searching, digging and exploring for new ways to enable mobile techniques in all areas of POS and data collection. The message energized people as they were getting ready to prospect for opportunities during our event,” Lapierre said.
