Zune digital music players available in stores across Canada starting

Microsoft Corp. today announced that 4GB, 8GB
and 80GB Zune digital music players and an extensive line-up of accessories
will be available in Canadian stores starting June 13, 2008.
“We’re thrilled to be offering a truly unique way for Canadians to
discover new music and share it with their friends,” said Craig Tullett, Group
Manager, Zune Canada. “With a variety of players, customization options and
wireless capabilities Zune offers a mobile social experience.”
Zune players and accessories will be available at the following retail
locations across Canada:

– The Source by Circuit City (select stores)

with laser-engraved artwork from six inspiring Canadian artists. All Zune
Originals artwork and engraving will be offered free for three months starting
June 13, 2008. Canadians can also visit www.zune.ca to download free Zune
Software and join the Zune Social online music community.
Zune Digital Music Players & Accessories
A variety of players and customization options will make it easy for
Canadians to find the size, colour, design and price of Zune that best suits
them. All Zune players support video, audio and pictures, have built-in FM
tuners and the ability to sync and share songs, playlists and pictures
wirelessly. The Zune player family launching in Canada includes:
– Zune 80. The Zune 80GB has a bright 3.2-inch screen, includes premium
in-ear noise-isolating headphones and will be available in black and

– Zune 4 & Zune 8. The slim, ultra-portable Zune 4GB and Zune 8GB will

– Zune Originals. Canadians will have the option to purchase and
customize their Zune player with personal text options and laser-
engraved designs from international artists as well as six Canadian
