Users can do a search and see
the results of both sites, side by side.

Yellow Pages Corporation, Google, and Yahoo make search more convenient
for users of Google and Yahoo

Toll Free Yellow Pages, Corp., a subsidiary of
Yellow Pages Corporation, announced the launch of SearchBoth.ca, the
nation’s first website that enables users to search both Google.ca and
Yahoo.ca at the same time.

Both Google and Yahoo are placed side by side on a split screen in order
for users to easily compare results of both websites. The company has also
launched the same service for the UK with SearchBoth.co.uk, the U.S. with
SearchBoth.com, and Australia with SearchBoth.com.au. All of the
SearchBoth family of websites search both Google and Yahoo in their
respective countries.

Online searchers no longer need to be tied to just one engine. According
to online polls and blogs, the majority of tech savvy and non-tech savvy
American search engine users are crossed between either Google or Yahoo. Each
show the same results, but on different pages. Some results may come up on
Google’s first page; however, the same results could be on Yahoo’s second,
third or fourth page, or vice versa. Finally, it’s about time these guys come
together to make search easier. SearchBoth.ca is truly one of the best
inventions since the start of the net back in the 90’s.
