Industry sources are reporting that US based Walt Disney has acquired Indian videogame company Indiagames for around USD 80-100 million.
This could be one of the largest such deals in the gaming market for an Indian company.
Indiagames develop mobile and online games and is a well-known player in the domestic market.
Incidentally, Disney already owns around 58% of the company through a previous deal when they acquired UTV Software Communications. This new deal would see then control 100% of the company.
The two companies have not confirmed these reports yet.
