BlueStar a leading global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions will kick off its 2013 Pan-European Technology Summit educational series in the United Kingdom on March 7. Hosted at the Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxford, this event continues the series that started in 2012 and will be the first of six events held across Europe in 2013.

BlueStar’s UK Technology Summit will first welcome Scott Garrett as its keynote speaker. Mr. Garrett is a former FMGC marketer turned Formula One team Commercial Directory, as well as the CEO of a sports marketing agency. His presentation will touch on passion for sports and how organizations can harness that energy and team spirit to win at international business efforts.

Jonathan Brayshaw, owner of the Original Agency Limited, will then present his views on emerging technologies and the future of the channel, focusing on mobility, supply chain and RFID. Formerly a journalist and writer/editor of news and corporate marketing, Mr. Brayshaw has built brands through marketing and communications for almost 15 years and will give insights into the social business revolution and how the channel can take advantage of these trends and developments.

Originally the Williams F1 team’s base for its Le Mans project, the award-winning Williams F1 Conference Centre facility was converted in 2002. After a full day of presentations, the UK Technology Summit will conclude with a cocktail reception, a tour of the Williams Grand Prix Collection of nearly 40 historic racecars, and a breathtaking F1 simulation experience. Meals and refreshments will also be provided to attendees throughout the day, and is free for value-added resellers and independent software vendors to attend.

Additional targeted educational summits are scheduled across multiple countries throughout 2013. Each one-day Technology Summit will consist of educational presentations, TechZone and networking opportunities.
