Apple has released an updated edition of Java for their Mac OS X platform.
This update is pretty important as it fixes as many as 30 vulnerabilities in Java on Mac.
Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 7 and Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 2 are available as free downloads from the company website.
As usual, Apple took a long time to update the Java editions for Mac. Java for Windows and Linux are managed by Oracle.
