Stan de Boisset, SVP of Global Channels, introduced the Proofpoint Partner Network, a revamped global program designed to address the Agentic Workspace—the emerging environment where human employees and AI agents collaborate. As enterprises rapidly adopt generative and agentic AI, Proofpoint is pivoting from traditional email security toward a human-centric, agentic-workspace model. This strategy focuses on governance over restriction, providing organizations with the tools to sanction specific AI applications, filter sensitive data, and prevent AI agents from inadvertently exfiltrating confidential information or executing malicious code.

The new partner framework replaces the previous Element program with a streamlined, three-tier structure (Select, Elite, and Elite+) aimed at driving platform consolidation and reducing “point-product noise.” To empower partners as trusted advisors, Proofpoint is rolling out advanced enablement tools, including AI-enabled avatar sales training and a specialized AI Innovation Centre. The program significantly strengthens partner economics through enhanced lead and margin protections, a tiered incentive structure for both new logos and renewals, and access to exclusive threat intelligence. By aligning these incentives with the shift toward agentic security, Proofpoint is positioning its partners to lead the next era of enterprise AI deployment with confidence.
