Nicer Canada Corp, developer of the Global Phone Exchange (GLOPEX) Network is pleased to announce the completion of IP-Centrex Service for Celtek Communications’s headquarters and all of its retail outlets. In this project Nicer deployed hosted services that included features such as Auto-Attendant, Voice Mail, Voice Mail to email and remote extensions for all Celtek stores throughout BC using IP handsets.
With IP-Centrex lines provided by Nicer, Celtek can now transfer callers to any of their stores without asking callers to hang-up and dial each store’s number. Even though the “extension” is a store in another city. Celtek can now utilize big-company telecom features with minimal investment.
Geoffrey Leung, president and founder of Celtek Communications runs a Richmond-based mobile phone dealership company. Most employees work out of seven stores in Greater Vancouver Regional District in British Columbia. “The system connects them to desired stores, or an employee’s cell phone whether the person is in the store or not. The solution treats employee cell phones like extensions on the company telephone network,” said Mr. Leung.
Celtek chose Nicer’s VOIP Solution simply due to its ease of use and rich features and will fulfill their corporate needs such as call forwarding and the ability to forward voice mail to e-mail. Celtek’s favorite feature is the ability to setup routing lists through a web interface: Mr. Leung comments “The solution helps us not just in lowering down the communications expenses but also improves our business productivity and efficiency.
“If I’m going to be away from my desk for a few hours, I re-route all my calls to my cell phone. We are pleased to be migrated to a phone system that provides flexibility, instant configuration and the ability to avoid high hardware costs. Thanks to Nicer, now any small and medium business can take advantage of the GLOPEX phone system to improve the efficiency in daily inter-branch and customer communications” said Mr. Leung.
