Asus has said that the sales of their EEE PC are being affected by the global shortage of laptop PC batteries.
The company expects the problem to be resolved by June this year.
Asus surprised the market by launching this portable computing machine loaded with solid state drive. It has been a massive success and the company has just launched the second generation edition named Eee PC 900.
The company is still aiming to meet their target of sales of 5 million units by the end of the current year.
They have sold more than 1 million units since they started selling it in the market late last year.
Asus EEE PC ships with options of Linux and Windows XP operating system.
